Yes. Many clients still get waxed during their menstrual cycle. Wearing a fresh tampon or menstrual cup is recommended for bikini or Brazilian services.

Who shouldn't get waxed?

I understand that waxing is a cosmetic hair removal service that may result in temporary redness, tenderness, swelling, bruising, ingrown hairs, or skin sensitivity.

I have disclosed all known medical conditions, allergies, medications, and skin concerns that may affect my waxing service. I understand that withholding information may increase the risk of adverse reactions.

I understand that results vary from person to person and that no guarantees have been made regarding the outcome of my service.

I understand that proper aftercare is important and agree to follow the aftercare instructions provided by my esthetician.

I understand that if I have recently used medications or products that thin or sensitize the skin, I should inform my esthetician before treatment.

Release of Liability

I voluntarily consent to receive waxing services.

I release and hold harmless the salon, business owner, esthetician, employees, and affiliates from liability for any reactions, injuries, or complications that may occur as a result of waxing services, except where prohibited by law or caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

I understand that I may stop the service at any time and that I have had the opportunity to ask questions before treatment.

Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service

I understand that the wax specialist will assess my skin before and throughout the waxing service. If, at any time, the wax specialist determines that my skin condition, medications, recent treatments, health history, or any other factor may make waxing unsafe or increase the risk of injury, they reserve the right to refuse, modify, or discontinue the service immediately.

I acknowledge that this decision is made solely for my health and safety. I agree to respect the professional judgment of the wax specialist and understand that the service may be stopped or rescheduled if it is determined that continuing could cause skin damage, irritation, lifting, burns, or other adverse reactions.
